“Krasny Kotelshchik” will Manufacture Large Lot of Equipment for Surgutskaya GRES-1 PJSC “OGK-2”
The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ) will supply a set of regeneration equipment for Power Units No. 13 and 16 of Surgutskaya GRES-1 PJSC “OGK-2”. This project became possible owing to the successful cooperation of two companies in the course of which the Taganrog company on several occasions proved the status of the reliable power equipment supplier.
This time for Surgutskaya GRES-1, being one of the main electric power sources for the regions of West Siberia and the Urals, also responsible for the heat supply to the city of Surgut, “Krasny Kotelshchik” will design and manufacture total 19 units of equipment. The scope of supply will cover six high pressure heaters (HPH) complete with two quick-acting protection devices; nine low-pressure heaters (LPH) and two horizontal line heaters.
The heaters will be made according to the technical design specification of the Client. In particular, the design of the HPH and LPH being the equipment conventional for “Krasny Kotelshchik”, will be modernized. Based on the experience gained by the company, TKZ specialists will optimize the heater internal arrangement which will provide an optimal distribution of heat-transfer medium flows in heat-exchanging zones. As a result, more effective and reliable operation of the heaters themselves as well as of Units No. 13 and 16 of Surgutskaya GRES-1 will be provided.
Further to the above, within the framework of the project, “Krasny Kotelshchik” specialists will design and manufacture the equipment being new for the company namely horizontal line heaters. The heaters intended for the heat supply to consumers will operate as a part of Power Unit No. 13 of Surgutskaya GRES-1. Owing to them the Taganrog company will get new references and expand the supply region for Turbine hall equipment.
The HPH, LPH and line heaters will be supplied within the framework of DPM-shtrikh state program of generating capacity modernization. It is planned to complete the implementation of the large-scale project including equipment erection and pre-commissioning in the beginning of 2024.
