“Krasny Kotelshchik” widens its production capabilities

Within the scope of the investment program The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ) has put into operation an advanced edge-milling machine designed for chamfering large-size metal plates.

The new machine has already been integrated into production chain of the Works. Its key feature involves the ability to machine metal up to 18 meters long which covers the needs of TKZ in milling large-size metal plates.

High performance of the machine is ensured by two independent milling heads that can operate in unison to speed up processing or separately to perform various operations on the same work piece without its resetting.

Specific mentioning should be made of industrial intellect. Machine control system is designed to eliminate human interference. There is no need for an operator to be a programmer, since the operation logic is easy-to-use which makes it possible to train personnel in the shortest time span.
