“Krasny Kotelshchik” Expanded Sales Geography of Atmospheric Deaerators

Two atmospheric deaerators with volume of 75 m³ were supplied to Kuybyshevskiy Refinery. «The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik”» (TKZ) took on the role of Manufacturer of the equipment for one of the biggest enterprises of Samara Region oil industry.

The deaerators of atmospheric pressure take a strong place in the product range of the Taganrog company. In particular, “Krasny Kotelshchik” has manufactured such equipment for the Projects in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Republic. Win in the tender for supply of two deaerators for the Russian Project – Kuybyshevskiy Refinery – was awarded to TKZ based on its references, offered product price and technical parameters after the obligatory accreditation on the Customer’s site.

Demand for the atmospheric deaerators is connected with their purpose: they remove corrosive gases from makeup water, which is used in heat supply systems, centralized hot water supply systems and steam boilers, installed at TPPs and in Boiler houses. As a result, the operational lifetime increases and safety of functional equipment installed at the facilities improves.

As a rule, the deaerators are supplied portion-wise. In case of Kuybyshevskiy Refinery: by railway and by road. Such split supply for this Project is resulted from the product design, which implied the availability of such large Assemblies as the deaerator tanks with the diameter of 3 meters and vertical deaerator columns with the diameter of 1.8 meters. As well as that, the deaerators were complete with less-in-size deaerator steam precoolers and protection devices.

Prior to dispatch to Kuybyshevskiy Refinery the finished products were subjected to a trial assembly at the Manufacturer-Works in the presence of the customer’s representative – this was the special requirement of the concluded contract. The success of this stage served as a sort of a signal for the start of the works on the deaerator shipment to the site.
