“Krasny Kotelshchik” Equips its Production with Welding Equipment
The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ) purchased equipment for argon-arc, semi-automatic and machine submerged arc welding. The welding machines were bought within the framework of the 2021 investment program. This equipment is necessary for implementation of the company production program based on the backlog of orders.
A part of the welding stations is intended for semi-automatic welding of products of perlite and austenitic steels. Smart and high-power machines easily obey any commands of a welder and can provide high-quality welded joints under different modes. This can be shielded metal arc welding in inert and active gases, as well as carbon arc cutting or pulse welding.
Other stations specialize in gas tungsten arc welding. In particular, using them, welders can butt weld tubes of boiler heating surfaces. These machines are also fit for steels of perlite and austenitic classes. They are characterized with a prolonged continuous operation and availability of a TIG-welding function (inert gas welding) including the one in pulse mode.
One more purchased item is a welding tractor for automatic submerged arc welding. Its key application at TKZ is for butt welded joints of metal plates required for manufacture of boiler supporting steel structure elements. Among the tractor main advantages is a smooth adjustment of welding modes and availability of a flux recirculation system.
