Achievements of the employees of “Krasny Kotelshchik” are highlighted within the framework of the National Award “Person of the Year”
Representatives of the Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ) were the regional winners and laureates of the National Award “Person of Labor” – new prestigious award, established in 2025.
The majority of applications for the national competition in Rostov region were received from the industrial enterprises, located in the major centers of Don region – Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Azov, Novocherkassk and other cities.
The support for the event from the manufacturing industry shows their efforts in solving the strategic problems of overcoming staff shortage, including by the means of boosting the company’s image and appeal of the engineering and blue-collar professions.
“Krasny Kotelshchik” nominated three employees for the National Award – each of them became the winner or laureate at the regional level, confirming the company’s high talent density and its leading role in the industry.
Andrey Kolesnikov, Lead Design Engineer of the Design Department (DD), won 1st place in the “Young specialist” category.
In the “Best mentor” category, 3rd place was awarded to Konstantin Tokarev, Head of DD sector. He is in charge of the student design bureau founded by TKZ at the South-Russian State Polytechnic University.
Sergey Gaponenko, senior welder of the company, won 3rd place in the “Family Working Dynasties” category. He represented a dynasty of workers with the total professional experience of almost 400 years at the “Krasny Kotelshchik”.
Representatives of “Krasny Kotelshchik” showed a great example of success in the industrial sector. The enterprise believes: high value of employees within the framework of the National Award “Person of Labor” is the result of their professionalism and personality traits, as well as the targeted, systematic approach of TKZ to retain talent density and uphold its industrial heritage.
